I thought I'd make a list of what $6 would buy me?
- 1 and a half starbucks chai
- if you convert it to Syrian $ ( $1-syp45) = syp245..thats around a gazillion shawarmas!
- 2 cups of ice cream
- a pretzel mini snack with half a cup of soda in the plane. ( with no ice..thats extra cost)
- 3 prepaid phone calls during the pay phone @ the airport.
Alhamdullilah, its been a good trip so far...
On the flight from Den- DC met a kid who was flying to Rome for a study abroad. He was going to be studying Roman architecture.
and right now I met a whole bunch of kids from Pittsburg who are on their way to Vienna for a semester too..it's soo cool talking to these kids who have such a different perspective and energy about the world. ( wow I sounded old for a minute)
This blog will act both as a sort of reflection for me, as well as a way for me to share my new adventures and crazy travels with my loved ones so that you might be able to experience all these great adventures with me in spirit.
Ok so last minute thoughts as Austrian Airlines starts boarding -
Austrian airlines ? - never heard of them until Sadiq booked my ticket.
Expectations? - nil. After Egypt Air everything else seems like a luxurious flight.
